Miss Tanya Is Here and Waiting Just For YOU!

Tanya was scheduled for euthanasia on August 3rd and we just found a voluteer in time to pull her out of danger. She is a petite little Lemon and White Field Bred Pointer- not a Vizsla. She weighs in at about 35lbs but fully grown she will be closer to 40lbs.

Want To Read Some Gossip? It's Interesting.

I overheard my foster mom telling someone "Tanya is the sweetest little peanut who has lots of puppy left in her. She also has lots and lots of energy and loves to run in our yard. She also LOVES toys, and playing with other dogs. She is curious and independent as well, and anyone who wants to play with her has to follow her lead. She's still a bit clumsy with her coltish legs and tiny body. For instance, the first day she was here she tried to go after a bird that was on the other side of our grapevine from where she was standing. She ended up stuck with her front legs on one side, and her back legs on the other! But she's fearless, and doesn't let any obstacle stop her. For instance, I don't think she had seen stairs before she came to us, but she flies down them now. She goes down them like a frog--sort of hopping on all fours. I've never seen anything like it! I don't know much about agility, but I think this dog has the personality and athletic skills to be good at it. She just has to grow into herself.

The ideal home for this baby would be an active family with a big fenced yard and maybe another doggie. She'll keep them busy!"

Isn't that interesting? Sounds like I would be perfect for YOUR family doesn't it? Why not give Illinois Birddog Rescue a jingle and come and meet me.

I'm Gorgeous and Available

I'd love to be spoiled rotten. It wouldn't take much either.

Notice my knock-out brown eyes. They can melt even the coldest of hearts.
